Logistics Visibility & Control Tower

Multi-DC Distribution Network

01The Challenge

A distribution network operating across 14 DCs and 80+ carrier relationships had zero real-time visibility beyond individual carrier portals. Exceptions were discovered reactively — often after customer escalation. Operations teams spent 3+ hours daily manually aggregating status data from disparate sources.

02Our Approach

We designed a hub-and-spoke integration architecture with the control tower as the central intelligence layer. Each carrier API was abstracted behind a normalised carrier integration interface, allowing uniform data consumption regardless of carrier-specific schema differences.

03The Solution

A real-time control tower platform with live shipment tracking, automated exception detection, carrier SLA monitoring, and predictive delay alerting. The platform integrates with 12 carrier APIs via our normalised carrier abstraction layer and ingests data from all 14 DCs through a lightweight edge agent.

04Measurable Results

100% real-time visibility across all 14 distribution centres
Exception detection: reactive → proactive (avg. 4.2 hours earlier)
Daily reporting effort: 3 hours → automated (saving 15+ hours/week)
Customer escalations reduced by 61% in first quarter post-launch
Carrier SLA breach identification: same-day vs. end-of-month
